Come and learn the boxing basics with Knockout LGBTQ Boxing Club, the country’s first boxing club run by and for queer people. You will join coaches Cam, Jill & Pip through fun games and activities designed to get you bobbing and weaving with the best of them! No previous experience required, just a willingness to try things out and have fun.
Lead Coach: Cameron (they/them) has boxed for 13 years and been a coach for most of that time. They have a wide range of experience and have introduced over 1,000 people to the sport, with most being people that boxing has historically excluded. Their proudest achievement as a boxing coach was developing the largest women’s University squad in the country when they were President of KCL amateur boxing club.
Assistant Coach: Jill (he/him) is a trans boxer with 8 years of experience across Muay Thai and boxing. Alongside boxing and coaching at Knockout, he lobbies to make competitive boxing accessible to trans and non-binary people.
Assistant Coach: Pip (she/they) first began boxing in 2019 and has been with Knockout LGBTQ Boxing Club ever since. As someone who didn’t feel comfortable participating in sport when they were younger, Pip now actively works to make boxing as accessible as possible to those in the LGBTQ+ community.
