Danielle St James is a prominent figure within the trans+ community in the UK, alongside her media work and other projects, she our Chief Exec at Not A Phase. As a founder of the charity back in 2020, Danielle has driven the organisation to success and notoriety in the charity sector in the UK. She is heavily involved in all aspects of it’s operations, splitting her time between the day-to-day duties of the role and working with brands and organisations in all sectors on improving their trans+ inclusion and use of trans+ people for visibility.

Alix has been on board at Not A Phase since it’s inception, he is now a director and oversees all community engagement as well as producing and managing Misfits. Alongside his work for Not A Phase, Alix is involved with various organisations that are working towards a greater level of understanding for autism.

Over the last ten years, Glyn Fussell has cemented himself as King of the UK club scene. Co-founding the UK’s largest LGBTQ+ collective Sink The Pink, Glyn creates safe spaces of LGBTQ+ people and anyone who feels a bit different.

Collaborating with the likes of Little Mix, Pink, Years & Years and performing everywhere from Glastonbury to Times Square, Sink The Pink celebrate freedom of expression.

Glyn’s debut book hit number 1 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases a month before it was released. Published in May 2022, Sink The Pink’s Manifesto For Misfits is a colourful and joyous manifesto dedicated to misfits everywhere seeking empowerment, their tribe and themselves. It contains think pieces, reflective exercises and living testimonies from a brave community of self-proclaimed eccentrics, freaks, geeks, rebels and oddballs, including Jade Thirlwall, Yungblud and Melanie C.

Glyn is a powerhouse. He’s creative, funny, smart, kind, and incredibly inspirational from everything he’s contributed to the LGBTQ+ community to the work he does to celebrate freedom of expression.

Hayden’s glass-more-than-full enthusiasm is infectious to be round. He’s a motivational force of nature, whether he is supporting someone in their personal journey or working on larger projects. Hayden brings positive energy to everything he approaches in life. The majority of his career has been in the construction industry where he is now making his mark in diversity and inclusion alongside a technical role.

Having come out as trans later in life, Hayden has a can-do driven attitude to everything he does, getting involved in grass roots trans & queer advocacy, fitness ranging from the gym to pole dancing and team sports.

Dee is a senior public policy professional with more than 20 years experience encompassing Parliament, Local Government and the NHS. Working to build cross sector partnerships and develop strategic policy and innovations which put people and communities in control of their goals.

She’s passionate about social justice, equity and equality – which inform her work and personal decisions, driving her to seek change for trans+ people in society and co-create positive strategic visions for the future.

She is proudest of her equality work in Brighton, centring the needs of trans and gender non-conforming people in public services, being a trans woman in a senior leadership role, where there is still much to do in terms of representation across all sectors and of her chosen family, who have helped her navigate what seemed insurmountable personal challenges.

Having been a film school graduate, she has a fervent appetite for creativity through her work and her photography, which she pursues wherever she goes!

Jack is a renowned anthropology scholar and Associate Dean EDI at the University of Bradford, UK, whose expertise in intimacy, personhood, and sexual and reproductive health is highly regarded. As a champion for LGBTQIA+ inclusivity in academia, he has played a pivotal role in designing policies to promote diversity and equity. Beyond academia, Jack is a sought-after consultant on LGBTQIA+ issues, EDI, and cultural sensitivity, with an impressive track record of spearheading organizational change-making projects for over a decade. Jack lives with his four children in the valleys of West Yorkshire, where he enjoys his hobbies, including amateur boxing, music, dance, tattoos, and open-water swimming.

Antonia is a founding Partner of MHBC, with over 45 + years’ of experience in construction and property. Transitioning in 2000 in a male-dominated industry, she became a pioneer for LGBTQ+ representation. Antonia actively advocates for positive change for Women/LGBT in Surveying, and taking pro bono appointments. Honoured as one of OUTstanding/Financial Times Top 100 LGBT Business Executives for five consecutive years (2014-2018) and recognized in 2016’s City A.M. Power 100 Women List for her commitment to a fair and inclusive workplace. In 2022, Antonia was awarded an OBE by the late Queen for Services to Equality in Business, in Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee Birthday Honours list.
